Havells India Ltd is planning to
expand its Crabtree brand's
footprint in the south Indian
market with the launch of a new range
of premium switchgear products. To
this effect, the company has invested
over Rs.10 crore in machinery and
design to equip its manufacturing plant
in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
Havells has shown over 20 per cent
growth in the south Indian market,
with the largest growth coming from
Tamil Nadu. Havells has spent the last
three years enhancing Crabtree's
product portfolio in consultation with
architects and construction firms. The
new switchgear range of products
includes miniature circuit-breakers,
distribution boards and residual
current circuit-breakers.
The premium switchgears will gel
with the aesthetical design of houses,
and even have the ability to provide a
separate earthing line, it is learnt.
