The India Power Awards have been instituted to recognise and continually promote excellence in the Power and Energy sector. The 2nd INDIA POWER AWARDS 2009 are scheduled in conjunction with Green Power - VI International Conference & Exhibition 2009 on 17 November 2009 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The Knowledge Partner for the India Power Awards 2009 is Mercados Energy Markets India Pvt Ltd.

Innovative IT Application in Utility Management 10. E-enabled Customer Platforms In addition to the above, there will be an International Award Segment linked to the above award categories.
