Pratibha Industries has secured the contract of circulating water and make-up water system civil works package for the Mauda super thermal power project (2x500-mw) from NTPC Ltd. The total value of the contract is Rs.58.85 crore, excluding cost of raw material. The project is to be executed in 21 months.
The project has various components like intake well on River Kanhan, intake water pump house over the intake well, circulating water pump house, circulating water ducts from pump house to cooling tower, etc.
The 1,000-mw coal-fired Mauda project in Nagpur district is shaping up to be NTPC's first greenfield power plant in Maharashtra. In December last year, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd landed the Rs.2,100-crore main plant package order for the project. |
