Numeric Power Systems Ltd has been renamed Swelect Energy Systems Ltd following the sale of its UPS business. The formalities of transfer of the UPS business to Novateur Electricity & Digital Systems Pvt Ltd were completed on May 29. Swelect Energy will now focus on solar energy-related products.

Novateur Electricity & Digital Systems Pvt Ltd, formerly Indo Asian Electric Pvt Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Legrand. Legrand, it may be mentioned has acquired the switchgear business of Indo Asian Fusegear Ltd (now known as EON Electric Ltd.)
